Thanks for stopping by! I’m a Washington, DC-based audio and data journalist currently open to exciting new opportunities.
I was most recently an audio producer for McClatchy, where I worked with other journalists in newsrooms across the country to make compelling narrative podcasts. I have also worked in radio reporting and production and data journalism for NPR’s Investigations Unit, Reveal from the Center for Investigative Reporting, NPR station KBIA and other organizations.
I’ve reported radio day turns and features, launched and produced podcasts and worked on news applications, along with obtaining documents, conducting extensive research and building out databases for in-depth watchdog reporting.
I earned my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Missouri School of Journalism. In my spare time, you can find me devouring podcasts and music, reading, exploring DC, cooking (translation: dancing in the kitchen) and eating capsacin-laden foods. My tagline says it all—audio, data and yes, spice, are what make my world go ’round.
